Shaping the future of sustainable textiles: Projeto Lusitano takes center stage! 🧵💧

We were present at the 3rd Mobilizing Agendas Meeting, where we had the opportunity to share with the market the practical results and disruptive technology developed under Projeto Lusitano.

Focused on the Textile and Apparel Industry (ITV), this initiative solves the biggest current challenge for industrial managers: achieving strict environmental compliance and ESG targets while simultaneously reducing operational costs (OPEX).

How do we do it? By replacing traditional chemical dosing with advanced electrochemical technologies (VABEC®) that clean, disinfect, and enable direct water reuse in the production process.

The numbers speak for themselves:
🔵 Industrial Laundries: >96% turbidity removal with an incredibly low energy consumption of just 0.2 kWh/m3!
🔵 Dyeing & Finishing: Total color removal and heavy suspended solids reduction (TSS >90%) with consumption below 1 kWh/m3.

When Casa Mendes Gonçalves challenged us to optimize their wastewater treatment, the goals were clear and ambitious:

✅ Drastically reduce reliance on heavy chemical dosing.
✅ Minimize sludge generation to improve environmental efficiency.
✅ Ensure absolute regulatory compliance with strict water salinity parameters.

By deploying our 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 (VABEC®), these milestones were successfully reached. We replaced traditional chemical methods with automated, clean engineering, proving that 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

Throughout this process, 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗮 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗚𝗼𝗻𝗰̧𝗮𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱-𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿, actively driving the transition toward cleaner technology.
