Olá a todos! I have been quiet and busy behind the scenes. The wait is finally over: I am pleased to inform you I will be opening the first Singaporean restaurant in Portugal! Makan Madeira is located in Funchal, Madeira and serves Singapore cuisine. Singapore cuisine is diverse and includes Malay, Chinese, Peranakan, Indian and Portuguese Eurasian dishes. Dishes served at the restaurant also integrates Madeirense ingredients and influences from my travels. This has been a year long planning and a joint collaboration with my business partner, Steve Selva who is also a firm supporter of SEAsian Supper club.

With the restaurant opening, this also means the demise of SEAsian Supper club. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support over the years providing the opportunity to share Southeast Asian cuisine and food stories.
