*The spa town of Caldas de Monchique. Famous for it's thermal waters and peaceful forest setting of cork oak and chestnut trees
*"Passadico do Barrancio do Demo" you'll cross the Devil's Canyon on a rope bridge
*The picturesque mountain village of Alferce
*Monchique - for a an authentic Portuguese taverna to taste Petiscos (Portuguese tapas) and mountain style cuisine. Finish with a shot of Medronho (Portuguese fire water) if you're brave! then wander the old town with its steep cobbled streets with wooden and cork handicrafts
*Foia - Climb the highest point in the Algarve with epic panoramic 360 degree views from the mountains to the sea and experience a sunset above the clouds

What a fabulous day yesterday on our new "W**e Safari" tour
We had a w**e tasting at the lovely Quinta do Sol vineyard followed by a picnic in Alte next to the river and ended with a little visit to Silves for a final glass of w**e next to the castle.

Come grape-hunting with us and discover a world of Algavian w**es! We've combined curated w**e tastings with a riverside gourmet picnic and visit to one of the regions most stunning waterfalls..

We'll begin our journey with visit to one of the Algarve's most exciting new w**eries Quinta Do Sol.

We then journey through countryside filled with vines and orange groves to Alte, one of the most typical and unspoiled villages in the region.

There you'll enjoy a riverside picnic of traditional Algarvian fare with local w**e and b**r pairings

Alte is renowned for its natural springs, you can even enjoy a refreshing swim in the stone clad pools

We will then visit the nearby Queda do Vigário waterfall ,a 24m drop over the cliffs into a deep pool shaded by fig trees.

We'll finish our journey with a visit to Quinta Dos Vales a stunning w**ery where you can explore their beautiful landscapes gardens and indulge in an (optional) extra w**e tasting..

Price is 75 Euros per person and the tour runs from Monday to Fridays. Pick up available from Carvoeiro/Lagoa area
