I have been living in Portugal for over 20 years and although I love it here, the generosity of the people, the beautiful countryside and the delicious fresh produce, there are a few occasions when I long for a little taste of home. I don´t think you can beat an English Christmas dinner with all the trimmings. But of course, typically English food just can´t be found. So, I decided to fill that ga

p and sell seasonal, homemade, traditional mincemeat and Christmas puddings, just like your grandma used to make. What with Brexit, long waits in the customs office and the high cost, buying on line from Britain has become prohibitive. So check out my prices instead.

What are you doing this Saturday? If you want to buy some delicious homemade mince pies with melt in the mouth pastry, dried fruits, almonds and apples soaked in aguardente, come to the Porto Connect Christmas Bazaar. It is being held on Saturday 23 November in the Oporto Cricket and Lawn Tennis Club, Rua do Campo Alegre, 532, Porto, from 11am to 5.30pm.
I will also be selling mincemeat so you can make some more at home!

Christmas isn´t far away, so have you got your Christmas pudding yet? I am selling homemade puddings made from the finest ingredients soaked in stout and aguardente to keep them moist and bring out the flavour of the fruit and nuts. Is your mouth watering? Then come and buy one from me at the Porto Connect Christmas Bazaar on Saturday 23 November from 11am to 5.30pm at the Oporto Cricket and Lawn Tennis Club, Rua do Campo Alegre, 532, Porto. Christmas is coming and Porto Connect will be holding their annual Christmas Bazaar on Saturday 23rd November. I will be there selling handmade Christmas treats: Christmas puddings, Mince pies, mincemeat (so you can make your own), Lemon curd and Marmalade. Looking forward to seeing you there!
