Esta semana, vamos preparar Mi Xa Xiu — porco char siu com massa fresca “mi”, como é feito pelas famílias nas casas do Vietname central.

A carne de porco f**a a marinar durante a noite. A massa é feita fresca. O molho é equilibrado à mão, não medido.

Três entradas de degustação para começar: crackers de camarão Sa Giang da província de D**g Thap, rolos frescos de camarão e rolos frescos de frango.

Para sobremesa: banana com amendoim e leite de coco caseiro, gelatina de lichia ou café gelado com leite à moda de Saigão.

This week, we’re cooking Mi Xa Xiu — char siu pork with fresh “mi” noodles, the way families make it in central Vietnamese homes.

The pork marinates overnight. The noodles are made fresh. The sauce is balanced by hand, not measured.

Three tasting starters to open: Sa Giang shrimp crackers from D**g Thap province, fresh shrimp rolls, fresh chicken rolls.

For dessert: banana with peanuts and homemade coconut milk, lychee jelly, or iced Saigon-style milk coffee.

Hello, my name is Chef Thu Pham, and I am from Vietnam.

Our restaurant, Vietnamesa, located in Matosinhos, has been open since 2024. To celebrate the spring–summer season, as well as our third year, we are launching a special food event lasting 5 weeks, from Monday, April 6th to May 10th.

During this event, we will introduce Vietnamese cuisine from different regions of Vietnam. The menu will change throughout the 5 weeks, offering a variety of dishes. You will find Bun Bo, char siu fried rice, Bac Xiu coffee from Saigon, salted coffee from Hue, and many more specialties.

Why not enjoy the beach in Matosinhos and join us for this gastronomic event? We would love to welcome you.

Hello, my name is Chef Thu Pham.
To celebrate our third year, we are creating a special food event lasting four weeks.

Each week, we will introduce a different menu. Dishes are from many regions in Vietnam like Hanoi, Saigon, Hue...

What is my biggest motivation? I have been waiting about 4 years since my 1st pop-up event, to create another food event to have the right moment. Vietnamese food culture is so rich, and I want to show you a part of it. Now the time has come.
In addition, there is a great feeling seeing customers happy discovering and enjoying good food. Hope to welcome your visits with us to our restaurant in Matosinhos, the event is from 06 April to 10 May.
