Our ๐“๐ž๐ซ๐ซ๐จ๐ข๐ซ ๐’๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ ๐๐ฎ๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐š ๐๐จ ๐๐จ๐ฏ๐š๐ฅ ๐•๐ข๐ง๐ก๐š๐ฌ ๐๐š ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ค๐š is a w**e that captures the character of a single vineyard with remarkable depth, freshness and quiet power.

The story begins at Quinta da Marka, on the right bank of the Douro, where a 1.45-hectare parcel was planted in 1930.
Almost a century later, more than 30 traditional grape varieties remain deeply rooted in its schist soils, growing side by side as an old field blend that could never be recreated today.

A histรณria comeรงa na Quinta da Marka, na margem direita do Douro, onde uma parcela de 1,45 hectares foi plantada em 1930.
Quase um sรฉculo depois, mais de 30 castas tradicionais permanecem profundamente enraizadas nos seus solos de xisto, crescendo lado a lado numa antiga mistura de castas que nunca mais poderia ser recriada hoje em dia.

The last baskets have left the terraces, the lagares have fallen quiet, and the Douro is slowly returning to its own rhythm.

To everyone who was part of it โ€” the pickers on the slopes, the feet in the lagares, the hands in the cellar, and all who helped along the way โ€” thank you.

This landscape was made by hand. Every terrace in the Douro represents the work of people: those who broke the stone, raised the walls and planted vines where it seemed impossible.

When harvest comes, it is people once again who give the slopes their meaning. Now, after more than a month on the terraces, harvest is entering its final days.

A variety with a strong personality that thrives in warm, sunny conditions.

The result is a single-varietal w**e bursting with character: intense colour, an aromatic nose of yellow fruit, orange and apricot with herbaceous notes, and an explosive palate with plenty of tannin, and a long, expressive finish.
