MaramuArt Smart Aquaponics (MASAP) is a family-founded agricultural technology venture designed to deliver scalable organic food production solutions, with operations scheduled to begin in 2026. We believe real food should not depend on climate, luck, or endless resources. Our systems simulate a biological ecosystem where fish feed plants, and plants purify the water. The result: fresh vegetables

all year, with 95% less water and zero pesticide use. We develop modular aquaponics architectures that connect directly to greenhouses, restaurants, communities, and small to mid-sized farms. Our pilot greenhouse has shown consistent results and real harvest cycles, proving the technology works in real-life conditions. MASAP is a journey. We are investing our own resources, working alongside experts in aquaculture, plant science, sustainability, and engineering. We want to empower organic food production — not just talk about it. We are excited to announce that MASAP – MaramuArt Smart Aquaponics has been selected for the EIT Food Accelerator Network (EIT FAN) 2026 – Catania cohort!

Joining EIT FAN is an important milestone for MASAP as we continue developing and validating our smart aquaponics solution, designed to make food production more sustainable, efficient and resilient.

As part of the 2026 cohort, we look forward to working with industry experts, partners and fellow innovators, validating our technology and taking the next steps towards the market.
