๐Ÿจ Hangop literally means "to hang up". It's an old fashioned traditional Dutch dessert that is made by straining yogurt to make a deliciously thick and creamy dessert served with warm cherry/strawberry compote.

๐ŸŽ Hachee is typically served as a condiment with lightly fried and slowly stewed red cabbage, boiled potatoes, apples or applesauce, or rice. Another food that usually goes with the stew is hutspot, which is Dutch for hotchpotch, or a dish consisting of boiled and mashed potatoes with carrots and onions.

Beef & caramelized onions braised in a rich beef stock served with fluffy carrot mash and sauteed red cabbage with sweet apple.
