More precisely, the founders discovered that they have in common the passion for Belgian style b**rs like Orval, Rochefort and other Trappists, and decided to join their forces and brew b**r as a hobby. For five years Oriel, back then Uriel, went through all the stages of amateur brewing, from b**r kits in a can, to partial mash b**rs, all grain b**rs and even wood barrel aged b**rs. Twenty litres of b**r, the same recipes brewed and improved over time and out of nowhere the acknowledgement appeared, the amateur b**rs began to win prizes at amateur, but important, competitions all over Europe, in countries like Romania, Croatia, Hungary, Slovenia and Bulgaria. Ioana Coca and Laurentiu Mandrila, back then with totally different professional backgrounds started to lay the foundations of the plan of a microbrewery. Both with a diploma in economics and management, but with jobs in high end fashion sales and music production, Ioana and Laurentiu decided in 2015 to register Oriel as a trademark and began to build from scratch what was to become the future Oriel microbrewery. It took almost two years to complete the construction and obtain all operating permits, but in the meantime the future b**rs were decided, being tested before, still in the 20 litres kettle. In December 2017 was the official launch and Oriel B**r came out with two Belgian style b**rs, Oriel Blond and Oriel Dubbel. The inspiration for the name came out from the seven archangels, Uriel being one of them. It doesn’t matter if someone is a believer or an atheist, Oriel is the proof of guidance, patience and creativity. Uriel is the archangel of light, wisdom, illumination and sun, he is a patron of arts and science for his ability to inspire and he inspired these two souls in crafting their extraordinary b**rs. Since the end of 2017, Oriel is proud to be an independent brewery, fully operated only by the two founders, brewing small – scale batches of unique b**rs and creating an enticing experience for all those who are eager to discover the world of craft, artisanal b**r.

Lansarile din weekend sunt acum disponibile pe shop!
Petite Blond • Lichtenweisse • Cuvee Hector

Weekendul acesta a fost despre traditie reinterpretata, despre stiluri clasice aduse in prezent si despre rabdarea care modeleaza berea in timp. Iar de astazi, toate cele trei beri lansate sunt oficial pe shop, gata sa fie descoperite.

✨ Petite Blond este o celebrare a simplitatii bine executate.
O bere luminoasa, curata, moderna, dar cu radacini belgiene adanc ancorate in traditie. Am creat-o pentru momentele in care vrei ceva usor, elegant si mereu potrivit, o bere care nu cere atentie, dar o merita.

🍋 Oriel Lichtenweisse este un omagiu adus traditiei germane.
Un stil atemporal, traversand secole de istorie si evocand faimoasele “sampanii ale Nordului”. Am reinterpretat acest stil in maniera Oriel, cu finete, claritate si un caracter care te invita sa revii la el. O bere care imbina traditia cu modernitatea intr-un mod firesc.

😸 Cuvee Hector este o bere wild ale modelata de timp, intuitie si munca tacuta a culturilor mixte.
Rezultata din doua loturi complementare si maturata peste trei ani in butoaie de stejar, aceasta bere poarta amprenta rabdarii in fiecare strat. Complexa, eleganta, cu o poveste care se dezvaluie incet, o bere pentru cei care apreciaza profunzimea si evolutia aromelor.

Toate cele trei sunt acum disponibile pe shop, proaspete si pregatite sa fie savurate.
Fiecare cu personalitatea ei, fiecare cu povestea ei.

Hello! A fost un weekend plin si tare frumos in gradina noastra.
Au fost cateva zile de pregatiri inainte si putin de strans d**a, dar ceea ce ne bucura cu adevarat sunteti voi, oamenii care ne trec pragul.

Am avut bere fresh, noutati, cafele bune, mancare delicioasa si vendori care au umplut gradina cu produse speciale.
Pentru noi a fost o mare bucurie sa revedem oameni dragi si sa cunoastem persoane noi.

Multumim tuturor celor care au fost prezenti la evenimentul nostru.
Cine stie, poate il repetam curand.

In weekend, ne vedem in Gradina Urbana Oriel.

Vom avea trei beri noi: doua la draft, Petite Blond (4.4%) si Lichtenweisse (4.2%), light si super fresh, perfecte pentru vara. Cuvee Hector se va servi doar la sticla.
Scoatem de la pastrare si ceva mai dark, doua beri vintage pentru cei curajosi.

Sambata si duminica va asteptam in gradina noastra, cu mare si cu mic.
Pe langa bere, avem multe surprize si activitati.

Program:
Sambata: 12:00 - 22:00
Duminica: 12:00 - 20:00

Voi veniti cu voie buna, noi aducem berea.

Dragilor, ne apropiem de Oriel B**r Weekend, iar in gradina noastra se pregatesc multe lucruri frumoase. Doua zile pline de bere craft, oameni faini si atmosfera relaxata.
Pe parcursul weekendului, veti avea:
• 4 sortimente Oriel la draft (2 beri noi + 2 beri vintage)
• Surpriza weekendului: Cuvee Hector – fratele mai mic al Cuvee Nora, maturat indelung, scos la lumina special pentru acest eveniment (disponibil doar la sticla!)
• Iar toate berile lansate la eveniment vor fi disponibile de saptamana viitoare pe shop
• Standuri cu vendori locali – craft, handmade, ilustratii
• Corner de viniluri pentru pasionatii de muzica
• Ufo Crispy Kebab vine cu preparate fresh delicioase
• Refresh Van cu cafea, limonada si alte bauturi non-alcoolice
• Cars & Coffee – zona dedicata iubitorilor de masini

Programul este:
Sambata: 12:00–22:00
Duminica: 12:00–20:00

In fiecare zi organizam cate doua tururi ale berariei, pentru cei curiosi sa afle cm facem berea Oriel si ce inseamna craft pentru noi.

Va asteptam cu bere rece, vibe bun si multe surprize.
