🥃 Whisky lovers, we’ve got something special lined up!

Join us on March 14th at 8:00 PM at King Shop Cluj (Str. Constantin Brâncuși nr. 80) for an evening dedicated to the beautiful single malts of Arran Distillery, one of Scotland’s most exciting modern distilleries.

Founded in 1995 on the Isle of Arran, often called “Scotland in miniature”, the distillery quickly built a reputation for producing elegant, fruit-forward whiskies and for experimenting with exceptional wine casks.

During the tasting we’ll explore three fantastic expressions:

🍯 Arran Sauternes Cask Finish
🍒 Arran Amarone Cask Finish
🔥 Arran Machrie Moor 10 Years Old

Expect a journey through sweet dessert wine casks, rich Italian red wine influence, and Arran’s signature lightly peated style.

On January 24th, from 7:30 PM, we’re meeting at Vagabundos Place (Str. Someșului nr.30, Cluj-Napoca) for a relaxed and story-filled whisky tasting featuring the legendary Berry Bros. & Rudd.

Founded in 1698, Berry Bros. & Rudd is Britain’s oldest wine & spirits merchant — supplying the Royal Family and bottling whiskies long before “independent bottlers” were even a thing. Their blends are all about balance, character, and letting great whisky speak for itself.

🥃 The lineup:
🔥 Islay Blended Malt – smoke, coastal vibes, and attitude
🍏 Speyside Blended Malt – elegant, fruity, dangerously drinkable
🍷 Sherry Cask Matured – rich, layered, and seriously comforting

🎙 Guided by Andrei Mureșan & Andrei Chiorean, we’ll talk blending philosophy, regional styles, and why these expressions punch well above their weight.
