In anul 1949 ia fiinta la Constanta, pe tårmurile Marii Negre, intreprinderea de prelucrare a strugurilor, actuala Vinvico. Practic, Vinvico cuprinde tot judetul Constanta prin faptul cå dispune de o serie de unitåti de vinificatie in tot judetul Constanta, situate in vecinatatea plantatiilor de vie de la Aliman, Ostrov, Medgidia, Cernavodå, Chirnogeni, Tariverde, Mihai Viteazu si Harsova. De aici materia primå rezultatå din struguri este transportatå la sediul din Constanta unde este supuså conditionårii si imbutelierii.

Vinvico produces wines from vineyards in Dobrodgea in the South East Romania between the Black Sea and Danube River. We use traditionally local grapes as new western style grapes like Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc. The autumn climate is dry and sunny. Together with traditionally hand picking of the grapes, the conditions are ideal for making late harvested sweet wines for aperitif and dessert. Try our late harvested Cabernet Sauvignon - is among the top wines of the world of its kind.

Vinvico won several gold and grand gold medals at international wine competitions. Our wines are exported all over the world. The distillery makes the famous smooth brandy Black Sea Brandy together with fruit spirits and grappa. Wines are stored in chilled cellars until bottling. The annual production capacity is maximum 50 million bottles.
