Caption: Did you know that honey has been used for its medicinal properties for thousands of years? Here are some interesting facts about this sweet nectar:

Honey never spoils! Thanks to its low water content and high acidity, it can last for centuries without going bad.
Bees have to visit millions of flowers to produce just one pound of honey.
Honey is not only delicious but also has many health benefits. It contains antioxidants, has antibacterial properties, and can soothe a sore throat.
The color and flavor of honey can vary depending on the flowers from which the bees gather nectar. The jar in this photo contains honey from clover flowers.
So the next time you enjoy some honey, remember these fun facts! 🐝🍯
