d not least, to give them regionally-realistic modern gastronomic alternatives in order to enjoy a more conscious lifestyle. The things that we eat and drink more or less define us. They say something about who we are, our origins and our aspirations. Modern Gastro endeavours to prepare individuals for the future’s gastronomic challenges through modern approaches. After the consumerist frenzy that took place in the last half century, there is a need to go back to our roots. A need to look at our local gastronomical inheritance and gather the most precious knowledge, whilst looking forward to the daunting task of solving food injustice taking all forms. We, as people, need to be more aware about the reasoning that stays behind our everyday food and beverage choices. Each and every person needs such sustainable alternatives that are realistic, approachable and achievable. We need this, you need this, the whole society needs this.

Building something meaningful takes time. ⏳ Even more so when you are doing it as an NGO.

Over the past months we have been quietly working behind the scenes on something very close to our hearts: the next issue of Modern Gastro Magazine. 📖

It took longer than we hoped. Creating a publication that celebrates food culture, local producers, inspiring people & authentic places, while keeping it independent & freely distributed, is not always the easiest journey. But we believe it is worth every step. 🏞️👩🏼‍🌾🍴

The good news is that we are finally there.
Modern Gastro Magazine – Issue No. 2 is coming. 🌟

A refreshed & upgraded edition bringing together food stories, bold recipes, local producers, tourism, lifestyle & our growing community of Modern Gastro ambassadors. All gathered in one magazine, in three languages, for everyone who believes gastronomy is more than just food. 🍽️ 👩🏼‍🍳
