Avicarvil started its activity by taking over one of the largest broil platforms in Romania, with tradition in raising broilers. The company owns the first broil farm in the country that includes green energy production. The broilers raised in Avicarvil farms are fed with natural feeds only. The
brand under which the company products are sold is known as „La Provincia”. In 2008 Avicarvil started a
process of investments regarding the technological upgrade of farms, enlarging the slaughterhouse capacity and building a logistics platform. Today Avicarvil operates six broil farms, capable of producing a total of 6.5 million birds each year. From the feeding standards – which include natural feeds only, to the growth process of each of the broilers – similar to a backcountry one, except under an industrial roof, no effort is spared to ensure the meat from a healthy animal gets to the consumer’s plate. As the proud and responsible owner of La Provincia, one of the most modern broiler farms in Romania, Avicarvil counts no less than 700 employees. Each of them stays true to the brand philosophy, built around the ethical treatment of each animal in the farm.
