Where it all Started
A Personal perspective on how it all began from the Founder:
We started Brewing at home in Summer of 2005. Why Home brew? Well after spending our Friday Nights in University at the Brooklyn Brewery and legendary Mugs Ale House (at the time the premier beer bar in Williamsburg, Brooklyn) I moved to Bucharest where guess what? No more longer did I have 30 taps of the best Craft Beer in the Northeast, U.S every Friday night. A solution had to be found. So I started Home Brewing with the intent on replicating all of the great Beer styles that I had grown to like.
After a few years in Bucharest I had moved back to NY for work and now as a member of the NYC homebrewers Guild I had befriended Zack, that went on to Found KCBC Brooklyn and Matt and Mary Izzet that had gone on to found Fifth Hammer in my hometown of Queens,NY. So I decided now was the time to go Pro.
Long Story Short, after years of brewing hundreds of beers, almost weekly, it was the enthusiastic feedback I received from friends and family, that made me go professional. I decided that all the knowledge and time and energy that I had put into brewing needed to be shared with the world.
