Via nu știe că e în First Class.
Crește pe pantele sudice ale Carpaților de zeci de ani. Nu citește meniuri. Nu urmărește scoruri. Face ce a făcut dintotdeauna — dă tot ce are.
Noi am pus-o în sticlă. Am așteptat trei ani. Am sperat în tăcere.
Lufthansa a băut-o. Patru Masters of Wine. O cameră fără etichete. Un singur criteriu: e bun sau nu e bun?
Răspunsul lor ne-a lăsat fără cuvinte: „Acesta este primul vin românesc care ne-a convins atât de mult încât l-am selectat pentru First Class.”
Ne-au văzut.
Mulțumim, Lufthansa. Și mulțumim vouă — celor care ați crezut în Dealu Mare când nimeni nu se uita încoace.

The vine doesn’t know it’s in First Class.
It has grown on the southern slopes of the Carpathians for decades. It doesn’t read menus. It doesn’t follow scores. It does what it has always done — gives everything it has.
We put it in a bottle. We waited three years. We hoped in silence.
Lufthansa tasted it blind. Four Masters of Wine. A room without labels. One question only: is it good enough or isn’t it?
Their answer left us speechless: “This is the first time that a Romanian wine has impressed us so much that we selected it for First Class.”
They saw us.
