🌙Cheesy Crescent Pull Apart Bread
Ingredients:
Yeast mixture:
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp active dry yeast (or one small pack of dry yeast)
1 cup lukewarm water
Dough:
2.5 cup Plain Flour
2 tsp salt
1/3 cup neutral oil
After:
Mozzarella (for when the dough is made)
Beaten egg for egg wash
Garlic butter:
1/4 cup butter
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1.5 tsp dry parsley
Directions:
1. Combine yeast mixture ingredients and mix well and let it rest/grow for ten minutes
2. After ten mins, add in the rest of the dough ingredients. If you’re using a stand mixer then slowly mix till the dough has combined and continue to knead for 5 mins. If you’re using your hands, combine the ingredients and knead for 10 mins
3. Divide dough balls into 25g even balls, tuck the edges inwards towards the middle, add a chunk of Mozerella and cover the cheese with the dough and roll the ball till smooth. repeat with every ball
4. Take a springform cake tin, add a smaller bowl inside. Grease the entire tin with some oil or butter
5. Place the balls in the tin in a crescent shape. Make some smaller plain doughballs to fill the edges of the crescent
6. Cover the doughballs and let it rest for 15 mins
7. Gently brush the dough balls with a beaten egg
8. Bake in a preheated oven of 180 for 20-30 mins or till doughballs are perfectly golden brown
9. Release the tin and remove the bowl to reveal your beautiful crescent! Brush with garlic butter and enjoy!
