CMA and the totally unacceptable leonine behavior !
In resume CMA tell us : "Dear Valued Customer" you have paid the full transport from Antwerp (Belgium) to Seychelles BUT now your container in Dubai AND CMA tells us simply that either we remove from Dubai port within 48 hours OR we pay an extra 5.820,- USD to ship to Seychelles (additional amount seeing we already paid in the initial payment pf 8.800 € for the shipment from Antwerp to Seychelles!!) !!! AND they write to us clearly that CMA CGM shall bear no liability whatsoever for any loss, damage to the cargo, or any delay in the carriage of your container(s) !!!!
Shipping is a great business when you can treat your "Valued Customers" like this right !?

Shipping line CMA CGM ripping off their clients !

CMA charges its clients 47 USD/ day for containers stuck in Dubai due to the closure of the Straight of Ormuz ! Even for containers that were initially not sent to Dubai ! CMA takes the decision of ships routes and as such , from Europe , a container for Seychelles ends up in Dubai port because CMA decides to transit in Dubai ! Then they charge their customers because the containers are stuck there ! So the customers have to assume their decisions ! And last but not least, now to move the container from Dubai to Seychelles , CMA is asking yet another 50 % supplement on the initial costs for the shipment from Europe to Seychelles !!!!!
Outside the blockage of the Straight of Ormuz, CMA practically prolong all initial ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) they give to their clients on departure ! The clients are promised a date of arrival at destination for a price but CMA modifies it as soon as the container is on the sea ! And legally , unless the delay reaches 6 months , there is nothing the client can do ! Last year CMA operating profit (ebitda) came in at $10.6bn ....

USE their competitor , MAERSK . They are much more honest and reliable !
