Shamira ("he who defends/guards" in Hebrew) lived on a cattle farm with a few goats before coming to us. Her parents were LGD's. She really likes just hanging out with the lambs in their little observation/lamb pasture... and they are completely fine with her! She's could be a good LGD. Time and training will tell.

I'd like you all to meet Shamira, the future LGD of The Fishing Shepherd's Flock. She is still just a pup, so she has a lot of energy and a lot to learn. Great Pyrenees/Sarplaninac mix. Thus far she is learning well, loves our family and loves our sheep. They honestly tolerate her more than I would have figured. She just needs to stop playing around them expecting them to play with her.

The first day with the flock! Not full yet, but this was the first two we were able to pick up this past Saturday. Meet Round Barn Kelsea (4-horned) and Round Barn Kimberli (2-horned). Kimberli has taken the place of Katherine, who was unable to be part of the flock. They are still tiny lambs, but they will grow and are adjusting to their new home well. We will be getting the other six relatively soon. More pictures to come.

The two newest additions to TFS's Flock. Meet Round Barn Kelsea and Round Barn Katherine. These two beauties are our first 4-horned lambs officially added to our flock. We are hoping to find out about our 8th and final one of the starter flock and are eagerly waiting to go get them and bring them home.

The Fishing Shepherd's Flock is a small starter flock thus far. We have added to our flock a few Jacob sheep with a few other possible members to be added. So far we've added to our flock:
Sweetgrass Giles
Sweetgrass 2229 (Jael)
Belle Ridge 902 (Rachel) and her lamb (Benjamin)
Belle Ridge 892 (Leah)

And possibly one of the following three:
Sweetgrass 2202
Sweetgrass 2208
Sweetgrass Astral

We are also looking into getting two or three others from one more breeder.
