Creamy Tomato Soup
Ingredients:
• 2 tomatoes (chopped)
• 1 tsp ginger (finely chopped)
• 1 tsp garlic (finely chopped)
• 1/2 tsp chili (finely chopped)
• Salt to taste
• 3 tsp sugar
• 1/3 tsp black pepper powder
• 1.5 tbsp butter
• 1/2 tbsp fresh cream
• 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
• 1 tsp cornflour
Method:
1. Chop the tomatoes finely.
2. Heat butter in a pan and sauté garlic, ginger, and chili for about 30 seconds.
3. Add the chopped tomatoes and salt, and cook for 3 minutes.
4. Pour in 3 cups of water and boil for 5 minutes. Blend, then Strain the mixture and add 1 cup of water to the strained liquid.
5. Bring the strained soup back to the pan. Dissolve the cornflour in 1/4 cup of water and mix it into the soup.
6. Add salt, black pepper powder, sugar, and tomato ketchup. Let it simmer for 2 minutes.
7. Stir in the fresh cream and serve hot.
