When creating the ''Latin Quarter'' cocktail, I was inspired by the popular casual drink Cuba Libre and the elegant Daiquiri cocktail. Both drinks were invented in Cuba, the Daiquiri with Bacardi Superior and the Cuba Libre with Bacardi Gold. All the Ingredients in the cocktail somehow have a connection or a bond with the Latin culture, the Rum was made in Cuba now in Puerto Rico, Coca Cola came t
o Cuba around 1900 and the Cuba Libre concoction was made. These are 2 of my favorites drinks. I enjoy having a Cuba Libre when going out with colleagues after finishing a shift behind the bar and a Daiquiri will be my first drink for the night at a festive occasion, dressed in black tie, chatting and socializing with the crowd. By mixing these 2 drinks with a final touch of Pedro Ximenez Sherry for some nutty flavor and rounding up the cocktail, I present to you the ''Latin Quarter'' Cocktail. Cheers!
