What was once open fields is now being transformed into a heritage style orchard that will outlive us, improving with each passing year. We are assisted in this endeavour by our tea

m of lawn mowers, more commonly known as cows, they keep the grass in check and will brighten up the dullest of days. We also have a flock of ducks that work as our pest control and provide quacking entertainment as well as eggs. But what’s the end game here? Why are we doing this? CIDER! Not much of the good stuff to be found here in Sweden so we decided we’d give it a crack. Now common! Let’s get WONKY!

Look at this adorable little lady, the one and only Brynhild. Born in the meadow on a beautiful sunny day. There’s something so magical about getting to experience life getting created, for us this feels like the true version of being rich. Her mother our oldest Harriet is a lovely but very strict mother and from prior experience the calf won’t leave here side for a while. Welcome to our farm little Brynhild, we love you endlessly and so looking forward to getting to know you when mama is ready. wonkyroots

We are so excited to be selling our gorgeous Welsh Harlequin duck eggs at Smakbruket in Tomelilla, a wonderful deli/ cafe that showcases delicious farm to table produce. Swing by for a bite to eat and check out their wonderful selection. Big thanks to Marcu for having us as one of your vendors.

2026 have taken us by storm, quite literally. We are now dealing with the second snow storm within weeks.

Yesterday at dawn we started digging ourselves out of the house, shovelled our way to the cows to dig out their water and redo their bedding after the snow pierced through even the smallest crack into their shelter. ❄️

We felt pretty glad when it was all over and got some snuggles with the cows. And somehow all of the hard work feels totally worth it ❤️
