I rarely take on new orders now. Typically, it is the regular customers who are aware that I bake for my kids weekly and ask if I can do extra for them too. The first day of the week has arrived and we are beginning with muffins in the house.

Made a batch of focaccia pizzas to get us through the next few days before the weekend kicks in. The dough was a messy one at 100% hydration, but it paid off with a soft, airy texture.
Kept one simple with cheese, ham, sausages, and for the other, I went with truffle sauce, ham, Sausage and mushrooms for a richer flavour.

A chicken soup made without a single drop of water—yet it turned out incredibly delicious. This method has been trending online for quite a while, and I finally gave it a try today.
It turns out the richness comes entirely from the natural juices of the chicken and vegetables, slowly simmered to bring out a deep, pure flavor. After stewing for a full two hours, the meat was so tender it fell right off the bone.
This pot of soup was truly worth it.

Monet Garden Bread 🌸
Lately I’ve been seeing this spring-inspired bread all over the internet — the pattern looks just like blooming flowers, really beautiful.
But honestly… this time I really challenged myself.
The dough was insanely sticky — so sticky that I started doubting whether I measured something wrongly. I almost wanted to throw it away 😅
But I couldn’t bear to waste it, so I pushed through and finished it anyway.
I made two versions:
One filled with luncheon meat,
And another made into a loaf.
By the end, I wasn’t really in the mood to perfect it anymore, so I just went with the flow and finished it as it was.
The final result wasn’t amazing, but at least the bread turned out soft!
As for the loaf, I’ll just use it to sandwich ice cream 😆
(Which was actually my original plan when I decided to make this bread!)
