How we started

It all started with a casual conversation with a group of friends, a mix of sighted and non-sighted individuals. We discovered the passion and the yearn the Visually Impaired individuals have for cooking. However, there is no avenue in Singapore to allow them to experience cooking or even picking it up as a skill towards independent living. So, the team decided to do something about it and that is how Fortitude Culina is born.

Fortitude means finding courage in adversity. And we hope to become the guiding light and an opportunity for the marginalized community, helping them find their courage.
