Lai lai lai! Today Jiak Simi Ho Liao jiak dessert! 😋

Chance upon this cafe at Changi Village and went in for some waffle ice cream!

They have a wide range of ice cream flavours to choose from! The Famous MSW, Pistachio, Strawberry Cheesecake, Dark Chocolate etc. And of cos, the sorbets choices!

Had the Pistachio & Dark Chocolate and dabombz! I definitely love em! Best part is they stay solidified and doesn't make the crispy flower-shaped waffle soggy! 😍

Oh and they serve quite a range of food too! Swipe left and check out their menu 😁

I'll definitely go back again! They have 2 branches. Have you tried them too?

Hello everybuddy! Long time no post Jiak Simi Ho Liao!

Finally had a gathering dinner with my long time ex-colleagues at after so many years!

Ordered a few mains and sides for sharing from their yummilicious menu! They have so much to choose from. So spoilt for choices! 👇🏻👇🏻

1. Jumbo satay platter: Mixture of 15 pork and 15 chicken. Their satay is so tender and juicy. Best of all, it's big!
2. Specialty Nasi Lemak: Good for sharing. Their sambal prawn so crunchy and chicken wing so juicy!
3. Spicy Thai Basil Spaghetti: Love the fragrance like you are in the Land of Smiles!
4. Tauhu Goreng: Sauce super on point!
5. Ngoh Hiang: Bites with juice and chunks!
6. Waygu Beef Cubes: This is a MUST-TRY dish! Never regret one! And they only serve dine-in!
7. Ikan Bilis w Peanut: It's in their Nasi Lemak. It's so good we ordered another side serving! 🤭

They've got so much more to choose from including our all-time-favourite beer! They too have interesting tea, shakes, and cocktails! Super kids friendly too! 🥳

Lai lai lai! Long time no post! Today Jiak Simi Ho Liao!

This is also a throwback to last Friyay! 5 of us decided to have some shabu to 解酒 (been drinking almost every night) 🤣

Passed by Shabu Sai and thought we just settle there. We ended up having 40 plates of beef 😨 (I had 10 plates myself) 🤣

Yes. No joke. Their beef is reeeeeaaally good! Melts in the mouth. They have chicken & pork shabu and many other vegetables and side selection too! Not only itz good, it's damn worth the price, coz it's buffet!

As usual, don't talk so much. Just go & eat and you will know! 😉

PS: We weren't having the most. We heard from the staff saying 1 lady doctor had 70 plates of their premium selection, waygu beef all by her own. Yes, it's real! 😂

Lai lai lai! Today Jiak Simi Ho Liao!

This is a throwback to last Saturday for my super s**g hangover. My bff surprised me by sending this supercilious porridge from Sin Heng Kee via Grabfood. 😍

Personally during my hangover times I will not eat anything at all but this was so hard to resist!

Porridge texture was so thick and textured, topped with spring onions and shallots that can still be seen even when it's a delivery! You know what I mean right? Color of the food also very important one 🤣

Aside from the very passable look of it, everything was just so perfect. Their handmade minced meat ball was so full of flavour mixing it with big cut pieces of century eggs, Mmmmmm.. 😌
We all know minced pork century egg porridge is everywhere but to find this kinda generous portion of ingredients are really like so rare. Most of the time I can only see century egg bits or really minced pork only in porridge. 😅

Anybody who wants really good porridge, please, you will have to try this! No joke ok 🤣
They have a wide selection of porridge and claypot frog legs too!

Hello everybuddy! Today Jiàk Simi Ho Liao?

Today jiak Wanton Mee again! Lol! Really is coincidental. Went to visit my late dad at Mandai and thought of grabbing something quick. Turned out and saw a corner coffeeshop located conveniently to settle my lunch. (OK the parking not convenient at all but there is someone helping to jagah the car)

They have everything Chinese on the menu! Zi Char, Dimsum, Claypot Rice/Porridge and of course, Wanton Mee and their Roasted Pork, Chicken, Duck etc.

Hearsay their roasted delicacies buay pai one so I ordered the Wanton Mee. 果然，it's the Hongkong style taste! With noodle so eggy and springy, charsiew is those fatty and sweet & salty type. Their dumplings are so filled with meat and prawns!

My mom and brother ordered their Zi Char with the wok-hei smell from afar. Mom finished the whole plate of hor-fun. (She usually eats like half. Needless to describe the taste already right?🤣)

Hello everybuddy! Today Jiak Simi Ho Liao! 😁

Many of my friends will drag me to the soi wanton mee whenever we go Bkk. Sorry, but I have to say, I personally don't fancy it 😅

That's probably because I had this Soi 19 Thai Wanton Mee in SG and IMO, this is like so much more better than the one in Bkk! 🥰 Topped with their crispy deep fried pork lard, chilli flake powder, WOW! They have a selection of sides dishes like crispy pork, Thai fish cake etc. It just makes me keep wanting to go back for it! Say so much no use. Try it yourself! 😁

They have a few outlets now. (Google for all the outlets) I personally went to the AMK and Kovan one. Just be prepared for their queues 🤣

Jiak Simi Ho Liao! Today jiak Thai Zi Char!

This well known neighbourhood restaurant at Yishun Chompang area serves really good Thai zi char at a very pocket friendly price! 😆

Always there for their famous Thai Deep Fried Fish. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside 😋

They have a wide selection on their menu at kopitiam price. (Or maybe cheaper)
Fried rice priced at $3.50!

Always having queue during dinner time but their ka qiu very fast. Queue fast, food also serving fast! 😂

Wana have some good zi char? Explore them if you haven't!

Jiak Cheesecake mai? Just sharing!
Got these from Sheng Siong supermarket @ 2 for $11.90 only! Usual price is $9.90 - $12.90 per box.
Personally like the Toblerone one cos it has more texture in it. Top layer of milk chocolate, centre w cheese and bottom laid biscuit.

Cadbury one is more moist, well it's a mud cake anyways, but still, it's nice! I mean, I'm a food lover 🤣

Had the Oreo one too (sorry I thrown the box away!) and I guess I need not say too much on oreo right? 🤭
Have you bought yours? Get them now if you love junk food like me! Promo ends on 13 September 😁

Jiak Simi Ho Liao?!
Long time never come to this place already!

This was my very 1st vigin try on waffle ice cream. Not ice cream though, it's gelato, which means better (IMO), cos it doesn't melt fast! 😁

They have wide selection of flavours like Ferrero Rocher, Lavender Earl Grey, Strawberry Cheesecake, Belgium Choc etc etc. And of cos, the one to die for, MSW 🤤

My all time favourite is Choc Brownie & MSW! I always ask for waffles to to made more crispy 😍

Oh ya, they too have menu of other food selection too! Come and try!

Been craving for Kuay Chap for the longest time and finally back for the very famous midnight Kuay Chap at Bishan!

Those who always crave for supper will definitely know this place 😆

Always loving their well braised selections and bowl of soft kuay 🤤

Definitely a must try for night owls like me!

Jiak ba buay?
Any Fried Fish Head Soup lovers? This is probably the best I had. With generous amount of fish head and spinach, topped with their deep fried ikan bilis and fried egg, WOW! Their soup is light yet so well flavoured! 😋
Aside from that, their mains are actually the super nice Ban Mian/Mee Hoon Kuay, dry/soup. If you are around the Northern part of SG, you should come and try!
