Hock Seng Pau first started in the year 1973 along Bendemeer Road in a coffee shop. Using money saved and the passion for making traditional pau and siew mai, we rented a small stall making 12 types of commonly found Chinese food handmade with our heart and soul. With the initial motto is to serve affordabl
e delicious pau with handpicked ingredients into our uniquely handmade signature contents, we progressed and expanded, moving the central kitchen to current venue in Ubi Avenue 2 to serve local community better. Though final production of the making has evolved to machine made, our initial raw material selection, preparing and cooking of the ingredients are still handpicked and handmade, preserving our unique heritage taste and craft. Proud to share that Hock Seng Siew Mai, Fan Choy and Lou Mai Kai are still totally handmade. We will continue to strive and fine this heritage craft, keeping this affordable delicious pau and siew mai for all.
