I don’t usually talk about things like this, but here goes…

Saw all the posts going around about that home-based food business case… honestly, quite disheartening to read the comments and experiences shared.

For me, doing food business is never just about making money. It’s about amanah (trust).
When people place an order, they’re trusting you with their time, their money, and even their expectations for something special on their table.

Kalau kita meniaga, biarlah ikhlas. Cook with love, take orders within your capacity, and be honest if you can’t fulfil. Jangan tamak sampai ambil terlalu banyak order, then end up disappointing people and giving all sorts of excuses. Itu niat dah tak betul.

Rezeki ni luas.
When you do things right, people will support you, and their doa will follow you.
That’s something money can’t buy.

Alhamdulillah, I’m really grateful for my customers. Some of them are no longer just customers—they’ve become friends.

Alhamdulillah… our little Coconut is finally home.
This journey has been one of tears, prayers, and holding onto hope with all our hearts.

He’s still on a feeding tube for the next 24 hours, but we’re praying that he’ll soon begin to eat and drink on his own—
that his body will heal, and everything will return to normal, one gentle step at a time.

And today, with full hearts, we also announce that our fundraising is officially complete.
We made it—because of you. ❤️

To every soul who donated, shared, supported, placed an order, and carried us in your prayers—
you gave us the strength to keep going.
You didn’t just help us raise funds.
You gave us hope. You reminded us we weren’t alone.

Updates 13th May 2025

Hi everyone,

Coconut’s blood test results are finally out—and thank God, everything is within normal limits.
He’s well emough to be discharged tonight, but he will need to go home with a feeding tube and be fed a liquid diet for now.

I’ve attached the finalized bill. Please note that this does not yet include the medications that will be sent home. I haven’t been able to settle the full amount yet, and I’m still actively raising funds.

If anyone would like to help—whether by donating, sharing, or ordering something from me for tomorrow lunch or dinner, it would truly make a difference.
Every little bit brings Coconut closer to the comfort of home and the healing he deserves.

12th May 2025

Coconut’s Latest Update:

Coconut’s vitals remain stable, and his temperature is within the normal range at 38.6°C. The vet successfully flushed his bladder today and removed about 43ml of urine.
A small but encouraging sign—he managed to p*e on his own in the litter box.

Unfortunately, he still hasn’t touched his food. If he continues not to eat overnight, the vet will likely place a feeding tube tomorrow to support his recovery.
There’s also a possibility that his urinary catheter is blocked and may need to be replaced.

Dr Esther plans to repeat his kidney tests tomorrow—specifically Creatinine ($24) and Electrolytes ($55)—to monitor his response to the ongoing fluid therapy.

Please continue to keep Coconut in your prayers.
I’ll keep you all updated—hoping for better news tomorrow.

Coconut’s Update:

Hi everyone! The doctor successfully drew 70ml of Coconut’s urine and conducted urinalysis.

Despite the successful test, Coconut still requires further checks on his kidneys. Based on earlier results, he has been diagnosed with Acute Kidney Injury (AKI), and we’re now waiting for updated blood test results.

Fundraising for Coconut’s treatment is still ongoing.

[URGENT HELP NEEDED FOR COCONUT]

This Mother’s Day, instead of joy — we received heartbreaking news. Our sweet cat Coconut has been diagnosed with Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD).
He’s now in pain, struggling to urinate, and at risk of kidney failure or bladder rupture if he doesn’t receive urgent treatment.

We’re a family of 8 — and we have few more cats who are all sterilized, safe, and deeply loved.
Coconut is more than just a pet to us… he’s family.
He’s the gentle one, the cuddler, the one who knows when we need comfort.

But now he’s the one who needs us — and we need you.
The vet bills are beyond what we can manage alone.
