Dear Customers,

Woks of Taste has closed permanently with effect from 1st June 2023.

I would like to thank all customers, supporters, social media, and food bloggers for your compliments, feedback, and encouragement for the past year. It has been a wonderful and fruitful experience to be a hawker.

I want to thank God that business has always been good and the response has always been overwhelming. My passion for cooking is still in me. However, for the next chapter of my life, I would like to continue my studies and also pursue my other areas of interest. Perhaps, in future I can conduct workshops to teach the future generations of hawkers to fry char kway teow in order to preserve the hawker culture and this traditional dish.

My sincere apologies for not being able to inform all of you in advance as I am worried that it might draw a large crowd during the last few days which could affect the quality of the dish.

Once again thank you all for coming from all corners of Singapore to support me and I hope that one day we will be able to meet again soon.
