Hello liulangfolks!
This is Hubert Arnold, owner of liulangmian.
It has been 2 years since we did a kitchen takeover popup this past weekend at buttertgt and even though our alexandra outlet was open during that time , turnout and support were crazy good.
I wanna express my sincere gratitute to everyone who came down and supported this business from the start.
It has been a really hectic 2.5 years since we opened.
I would also like to take this opportunity to give thanks to every single hardcore regulars who turned into friends and taught me alot in life that really means so much to me.

My insane amount of friends, family, my parents and my wife.*
This was never easy, especially when my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in Jan 2025. I was really helpless when I went to the hospital with him, but I still had to show up at liulangmian to cook with tears flowing continuously. Praying for him every second and making enough so that I could give him as much medical help as possible.
He was truly a fighter, giving me strength to continue this show daily.
With his passing late October last year, it pains me alot till today, because without my parents support and pressence, there wouldn't be a Hubert nor a LiuLangmian.
During that period of time, my friends and family supported me and this business. Words simply cannot express my gratitude for this.
We will continue to serve with our hearts and create passionate bowls as we go.
