Tel: 8868-8833 Auntie Mary, the stall owner has been in the hawker business since 1986 and if there is anything that people like about her food; it's all about the local 古早味 flavour. Her specialty is her homemade Ngoh Hiang (五香), fried to c

rispy perfection on the outside but succulent and juicy on the inside. Because of this gourmet item, her stall was awarded as the top 10 Ngio Hiong Stalls in the City Hawker Food Hunt 2016 organised by 新明日报 and City Gas! And when we talk about 古早味, her BBQ chicken wings / thighs / spring chickens are grilled over charcoal fire to achieve just the right amount of smoking-hot charred flavour on the ends of the wings, but retaining all the meat juices inside it. The special marination for the chicken but it's so highly classified that only she knows the exact formula for creating the perfect marinating sauce for the BBQ chicken. Mai Xiang Yuan
