Grit is a lie sold on motivational posters. You were born for something messier.

Everyone on here loves the word grit. It sounds clean. It sounds like something you buy to feel like you are working hard.

But grit is just polite suffering. It is showing up in clean boots and pretending your whole life is a motivational poster.

We don't do that. We believe in Feral Resilience.

Feral Resilience is the ability to ignore the user manual and build a waterproof fire pit with three soggy sticks and pure, stubborn refusal to quit when your tent rips apart. It is a terrible process but it beats going home.

If you have grit, you talk about the goal. If you have Feral Resilience, you already have the dirt under your nails. That is the difference between a tourist and one of the tribe.

What is the most feral thing you had to do to save a trip or just survive a Tuesday? I want the messy, true stories of total chaos and survival.

This month has been heartbreaking. We lost two of our beloved friends and supporters to su***de within four weeks. The grief has been heavy, and the silence that follows can feel even heavier.

We’re sharing this not for sympathy, but because silence deepens the shadows where too many already feel trapped. Mental health awareness and su***de prevention support matter.

Asking for help is not weakness - it’s strength.

If you’re struggling, please reach out: to someone you trust, to a counselor, or to a hotline. You don’t have to carry the weight alone.

And if you’re steady right now, check in on your people. Sometimes just a message, a call, or sitting quietly with them can save a life.

We lost a mate, one of our own. They’re gone, and it fu***ng hurts.

But if doing this post prevents even one person from making a decision that can't be undone, then it’s worth it.

This month is Su***de Awareness Month, and for us, it’s personal. Losing someone close cuts deep, and it leaves behind families, friends, and communities with questions that never get answered.

Small Update Regarding Tariffs

As of August 29, 2025, the U.S. ended the duty-free rule for small-value imports (“de minimis”). That means most parcels entering the U.S. even under $800 may now be charged fees.

Good news: Wyld Peak ships from within the U.S., so your orders aren’t affected.
