Healthy Western Style Dinner
Baked Potato Fries
- 2-3 Russet Potatoes
- Garlic Powder
- Paprika Powder
- Salt
1) Cut potatoes into strips and soak in water for 15mins.
2) Drain water and microwave/steam the potatoes for 5mins.
3) Preheat oven, 180degree celcius. Drizzle olive oil on parchment paper, follow by sprinkle of powders & salt.
4) Lay the potato strips (do not stack them) on the parchment paper and drizzle abit more olive oil.
5) Bake for 10mins, flip sides and bake till crisp.
Baked Broccoli & Honey Carrots
- 1 broccoli
- 1 carrot
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp red wine vinaigrette
1) Cut the veggies up and microwave/steam for 5mins.
2) Same method as potatoes.
3) For the carrot, after steaming/microwave, mix up the honey & vinaigrette and baked it side by side with the broccoli.
4) 180degree celcius, 7mins, flip side and continue baking till desired.
Baked Chicken Nugget
- 2 chicken breast, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1/4 cup corn starch
- 1 cup flour + egg + same seasoning for coating.
1) Marinate minced chicken with all the seasoning above.
2) Shape the chicken mixture to your liking.
3) Placed it in the freezer till it’s hard.
4) Coat harden nuggets in egg, follow by flour mixture.
5) Drizzle parchment paper with olive oil, placed coated nuggets and bake for 180degree, 15mins, flip and switch sides for another 10mins. You may also airfry it for 20mins !
