At Old World Bak*teh & Fried Porridge, we create our own food and recipes from scratch.. Unlike one stall, took away our staff in order to have our fried porridge recipe and concept..

The staff came again last week, look around our stall, tried some of our new created dishes.. Don't know what he wants to 'steal' again... No back bone, no initiative to do his R&D, just know how to 'steal' from others.

We have evolved from a Bak*teh Stall to Bak*teh tzi char stall, where we have over 40 varieties of food to choose from.

Our latest addition to our menu is our Wok Hei Seafood Cheesy Bee Hoon.
Please bring along your loves one to dine in our humble stall.

Since November 2019, we have evolved from a normal Bak*teh Stall, to over 40 items in our menu such as our most popular dish, fried porridge, dry mee sua, braised mee sua to KL Pork Noodle, Cheesy Seafood Bee Hoon and Malacca Hu Kiao Mee.

From time to time, we will make some changes and adjustment on our recipes base on our customers' feedback.

Cheese Bee Hoon is one of the food you must have when you visit Malacca.

We have spent many months to R&D and get the right taste, smoky smell (wok hei) and also the work flow.

This unique Cheese Bee Hoon only available at Old World Bak*teh (Yishun, Bedok and Tampines ) from 12/1/2022 (Wednesday).

“You must know how to manage your staff and teach them everything so that they can do the job as well as you. If you keep everything to yourself, down to the recipe, then you’ll find it very tough because you have to do everything yourself.”
Having the "do yourself" mentality is very common, but in the long run, you’ll find yourself having to shoulder everything by yourself. Watch on as Jemmy imparts knowledge and practices gained from his years of F&B experience!
