Who doesn’t love a pork tonkatsu, and this one is a real firecracker. It’s combining all the flavours I love from the kerabu to the sambal and of course the juicy pork chop! Talk about cutting through the richness, these accompaniments work so well with that fried chop. I’ve used boneless Australian pork chops.

Just 3 steps - dust, dip and panko before shallow frying it deliciously golden and crunchy. Don’t forget to rest it for a bit straight after frying to keep all the moisture within.

Now boneless pork chops are a great cut to use for this recipe but it’s also the leanest cut, there’s no where to hide so quality really matters. Knowing how Aussie pork has been farmed to the highest of quality, and welfare standards that I trust, it’s my choice, every single time.
