It is with great sadness that we today announce the closure of ISSHO.⠀
 
we have concluded that it is no longer economically sustainable to continue to operate ISSHO in the current location.⠀
 ⠀
Despite today’s announcement and the closing of this chapter, we are extremely proud of all that we have achieved, and remain hopeful for a future where ISSHO will return to as a restaurant in another location.⠀
 ⠀

The final day of service will be Sunday, July 31st, 2022. We look forward to seeing and serving you again.

Despite the closure of ISSHO, we will not stop pursuing our passions and will be furthering our craft by working for other establish restaurants.

Tiger Prawns I Squid I Aged Prawn XO

Our newest Donabe will be dropping out next week!

The Tiger Prawns have been cured and then rinsed with sake before hitting the grill. We then grilled it with a touch of brown butter and Tare.

With this newest addition, we have been waiting since our opening to finally put our Aged Prawn XO to use. We have been Aging this XO since April, we made a sambal then layered it with our Prawn Garum and together with our other secret ingredients.

Honestly, we can’t wait for you guys to try it out!! It’s something we have been working on for a while!!
