Sake with cherry blossom-shaped gold leaf floating inside. Also called the 'Obama' Sake, as then President Obama had this while he was in Japan!

📜 Released in 1958, and still a bestseller today. It has been a favourite at Ginza restaurants, including Sukiyabashi Jiro, since the mid-1960s.

The Macallan Harmony Collection - Inspired By Fresh Coconut

This is the 6th and concluding release in the Harmony Collection — once it's gone, the series is complete. No more chapters after this one.

Six releases. One journey. A collection built on the belief that flavour is discovered, never forced — and now, its concluding note: fresh coconut, a character rarely found in The Macallan. 🌴

This expression unfolds with coconut milk, zesty lime and citrus, layered over vanilla, sweet oak and gentle spice, before settling into a bright, floral finish. The coconut character is drawn entirely from nature — coaxed from the natural oak lactones in specially selected sherry-seasoned American oak casks, and finessed by bourbon casks, through the precise cask selection of our Wh**ky Mastery Team.

The story comes full circle at The Macallan Estate, where this release finds its perfect pairing in the TimeSpirit Dining Experience — a collaboration with El Celler de Can Roca, featuring a suite of playful, coconut-inspired creations from pastry maestro Jordi Roca.

Even the presentation honours the story: the box is crafted from paper infused with discarded coconut fibres, charred using an emission-free process that gives waste coconut coir and shells new life as natural black pigment.
