Zhao An Granny Grass Jelly The business was started by Yeo Hwee Seng in the year 1996. The business soon became a success with numerous compliments from his customers & the media.

With his grandmother's authentic grass jelly (chin chow) recipe, he started an unique dessert stall at Golden Mile Food Centre. Even till today, the grass jelly was made just as it had been by his grandmother during the 60's/ 70's - by hand. Even Ex-President Nathan had tasted it himself. It was also featured in newspapers and tv shows, like Chinese Lianhe Zaobao, The City Beat and Makansutra, whose rated it full marks of 'Die, die must try' since 1999.
