You can insure your inventory, your facilities, and your fleet—but how do you insure your brand reputation when a supplier three tiers away makes a mistake?

In the modern F&B landscape, what you don't know can destroy your business overnight. Blind spots in your supply chain aren't just administrative headaches; they are unpredictable financial liabilities waiting to trigger.

The data is clear: the global food traceability market is projected to scale from USD 36.88 billion this year to over USD 67 billion by 2034 (Fortune Business Insights, 2026). This massive investment isn’t just about regulatory compliance—it’s a direct response to a global supply chain where unsafe food impacts 866 million people annually.

Our latest blog breaks down what food supply chain traceability actually means in practice, why it matters more than ever, and how operators across the region are building it into their operations.

What's driving chefs, food manufacturers, and buyers to look beyond conventional produce — and where are the most exciting ingredients coming from?

Specialty crops are no longer a niche category reserved for fine dining menus. Driven by growing consumer demand for diverse, high-quality ingredients, transparent sourcing, and genuinely distinctive flavour profiles, these high-value crops — from exotic fruits and heritage grains to rare herbs, spices, and nuts — are making their way into mainstream food production, restaurant kitchens, and retail shelves faster than ever. The global specialty crops market is projected to grow from USD1.4 billion in 2026 to USD1.8 billion by 2033, and the businesses that understand which crops are gaining traction — and why — are the ones best positioned to innovate ahead of the curve.

Our latest blog covers 7 exotic specialty crops gaining global popularity right now, what's driving demand, and what it means for sourcing, menu development, and product innovation. Read the full article here 👉 https://bit.ly/Blog_SpecialtyCrops_FB

On World Environment Day, we're proud to look back at the sustainability initiatives that shaped FHA 2026. 🌱

🥗Our exhibitors gave surplus food a new purpose — donations that became cooked meals for families in need, in partnership with Willing Hearts.

☕️On the show floor, visitors got hands-on with KofiClay, upcycling spent coffee grounds into beautifully crafted clay charms.

♻️Behind the scenes, our team made the switch to 100% recycled badges and lanyards, alongside a sustainably built backdrop.

Every edition, we aim to raise the bar for our industry and for the planet. Happy World Environment Day!

A moment of frozen hands that turned into a resolute mission. A missing supplier that forged a leader from the ground up. A forgotten bain marie on the most critical night. 🍴

Our panel of chefs has chosen their winners from our online submissions — stories that didn't just describe a mistake, but showed exactly what the industry does with one.

Because the best kitchens aren't run by people who never make mistakes. They're run by people who make them once, learn hard, and never look back. Congratulations to all our winners and thank you to everyone who has shared their "Forked Up" moments.

Happy Global Exhibitions Day! 🌏

Global Exhibitions Day is a worldwide celebration of the exhibitions industry — recognising the power of face-to-face experiences to drive real opportunities for people, businesses, and the planet. This year's theme: Exhibitions Drive Opportunities.

We asked the people behind our buyer programme, show-floor operations, and sales conversations to finish a sentence about what exhibitions have made possible. For connections that last beyond the show. For sustainable choices that move an industry forward. For business results that no online meeting could replicate.

Two categories. One stage. The finest pastry talent in the region. 🍮🏆

The FHA Dessert Challenge, co-organised with the and endorsed by Worldchefs, returned to FHA 2026 as one of the most anticipated events on the competition calendar. And it delivered.

The team-based Elevated Afternoon Tea Set category challenged pairs to reimagine a classic hospitality format through the lens of modern pâtisserie - balancing elegance, creativity, and flavour across every element. The individual Plated Desserts category asked competitors to put everything they know onto a single plate, a format that leaves no room for compromise and every opportunity for brilliance.

Judged to international standards, the FHA Dessert Challenge is a platform where technical skill meets artistic vision, and where the region's most talented pastry professionals come to show the world what they are made of.

Congratulations to all our winners, and thank you to our sponsors and partners!✨

Flour, fire, and finesse - a whole lot of skill and passion. The FHA Bakery Challenge has crowned its champions. 🥐🏆

Returning to FHA 2026 after its 2024 debut, this Worldchefs-endorsed competition brought together national teams from across Asia to go head-to-head in one of the most rigorous tests of artisan baking in the region. Organised in partnership with the Singapore Pastry Alliance, it set the bar high, and every team rose to meet it.

Three award categories recognised excellence across different dimensions of the craft: Technical precision of Viennoiseries and Artisan Baguette, Creative ambition of the Artistic Showpiece, and Pure Excellence of Degustation. No shortcuts. No compromises. Just world-class baking, judged to international standards.

Congratulations to every team that competed, and thank you to the sponsors and partners who backed this competition!✨
