Founded on a rich heritage dating back to 1850, Château Pichon Baron was born when the original estate was divided in two, with Baron Raoul Pichon de Longueville.

Recognised as a Second Grand Cru Classé in the 1855 Bordeaux classification, the estate has long stood among the great names of the Médoc. After being sold to the Bouteiller family in 1933, Château Pichon Baron continued its legacy under their stewardship for more than five decades.

The 2025 vintage appears to strike an appealing balance between Lynch-Bages’ signature power and a greater sense of refinement. One of Pauillac’s most dependable names, it combines a long family legacy, gravel-rich terroir overlooking the Gironde, and a style that brings together strength, depth, and polish.

A very compelling EP purchase, it should appeal to collectors with patience, as the strongest notes point to a long drinking window and impressive ageing potential.

This year marks the 300th vintage produced by Château Gruaud-Larose, the historic 2nd Growth of Saint-Julien, now under the stewardship of the Merlaut family and rooted in some 82 hectares of gravel-rich terroir.

The 2025 vintage is described as dark-toned and aromatic, with notes of black raspberry, violet and spice. Rather than leading with immediate showiness, it is shaped by tension, precision, and a long finish, qualities that suit the house style beautifully.

Château La Gaffelière is, above all, a historic Grand Cru rooted in the exceptional terroir of Saint-Émilion’s renowned “golden triangle,” between the slopes of Pavie and Ausone.

The 2025 En Primeur offers rich dark fruit with finesse and precision—both delicate and elegant, supported by beautifully integrated tannins and strong ageing potential. A perennial favourite among clients, this latest release is no exception.

At the heart of its vineyards stands a house built of Bordeaux stone in a mythical clay-gravel setting, where bees and horses, winegrowers and farmers, all come together in harmony.

L’Evangile is a distinguished Pomerol estate celebrated for its graceful, expressive Bordeaux, and its 2025 en primeur release has drawn attention for its finesse, quality, and attractive pricing, making it one of the more compelling wines of the campaign.
