After more than two decades, it was such a joy to reunite with my former Director of Food & Beverage, Mr. Dietmar Salat, along with his lovely wife Irene and Richard Salat.

Dietmar was not only my boss but also one of my best friends — a true mentor and an inspiring leader. During our time together at Singapore Marriott, we shared many great moments and achieved numerous accolades that I’ll always cherish.

It was extra special to celebrate his birthday yesterday — with Michelin-starred chicken rice and a toast of Prosecco to good memories and lifelong friendship. 🥂
