š«One thing thatās been important to me since starting The Clean Addicts is transparency.
Growing up with a Mum who has heart disease, I know how helpful nutrition information can be.
Not because food should be reduced to numbers, but because having access to information can help people make choices that work for their own needs, preferences and health goals ā¤ļøāš©¹
Whether itās understanding how a dessert fits into a balanced lifestyle, managing a health condition, or simply making a more informed choice, nutrition information can be a useful tool.
At the same time, I donāt believe nutrition information tells the whole story.
A dessert isnāt just calories, sugar or fat. Itās also the quality of ingredients used, how satisfying it is, the nutrients it provides, and the joy it brings āŗļø
Thatās why I focus on creating bakes made from wholesome ingredients, with more fibre and protein than conventional desserts, while still being delicious enough to share with family and friends! š
The nutrition information I provide is intended as a guide only and is estimated based on our recipes and ingredients. As with all handmade products, values may vary slightly between batches (not factory made here šš»)
Iād love to know - do you find yourself checking nutrition information more often these days when buying food from supermarkets, cafes or bakeries?
