Keeping up with our little yearly 肉包birthday tradition to honour you. 💕

10th birthday without you, Jazzy jie jie, but Mumsie still remembers you so fondly and tells us so many funny stories about you.

They say Shih Tzus can be a little silly, but Mumsie always said you were different. Smart, feisty and full of character. You understood Teochew, Mandarin and English too. 😂

You were Mumsie’s first dog, the one who started her love for dogs and, in a way, paved the way for all of us who came after you.

I never got to meet you, but through all the stories, it somehow feels like I know you too. 🐾

Happy birthday in heaven! Mumsie想你爱你❤️😘

Till we meet again, our silliest, nosiest, most senseless, most loyal and sweetest boy.

Life will never quite be the same without you, Juno boy.

Thank you Paws To Heaven Pet Cremation Services for your prompt and close follow-up, and for treating our Juno boy with such gentleness, respect and care as we said our final goodbye.

Never expected our last outing to be the last time all of us would be together. 💔

A couple of days after Mumsie left for her trip, bro started looking lethargic and eating less. At first, everyone thought he was just being fussy and dramatic again. But then he started walking unsteadily and the family rushed him to the vet.

That was when we found out bro had spleen cancer and was bleeding internally.

Everything happened so fast after that. Bro’s condition deteriorated very quickly, and Mumsie couldn’t make it back in time. In the end, a painful decision has to be made to let bro go peacefully.

It was really one of Mumsie’s deepest pains and regrets that she couldn’t be there with bro in his final moments.

Thank you for being my bro and such a loyal companion all these years. Though we don’t see eye to eye some days, we grew old together, shared the same home, the same family and so many memories. It’s going to feel very different without you around.

You loved us with all your life, and now we will miss and love you for the rest of ours. 🤍

Have fun at the Rainbow Bridge, bro. 🌈🤍

Till we meet again.

Been a while since Mumsie brought all 4 of us out for an excursion 😂🐾

Today’s agenda: beach cleaning + picnic! 🏖️🧺

Mumsie says she’s boring because she always brings us to the same place… SAME exact spot. But no, no complaints 😂

Getting out of the house though… another story.

Human bro refused to get out of bed.
The 3 of us realised we were going out and got WAY too excited.
Started running everywhere. Banged into each other. Almost fought. 🤣

Mumsie was nagging at 4 of us…

And finally… WE MADE IT TO THE CAR!!!

Look at this photo.
Four happy innocent faces. 😇
You would never know what Mumsie went through 20 minutes earlier. 😂😂😂

But she’ll bring us again. We know she will. 😏❤️

The unexplained joy when you see your adopted dog snoring away, dreaming and sleeping safely beside you. ❤️

Someone once told Mumsie that having dogs is heartbreaking because one day you will lose them.

Indeed it is.

But I think that’s the cost of love.

You adopt, you give them a home, a family and your heart. And in return, they love you back unconditionally every single day.

The goodbye will hurt one day. But that doesn’t make the love any less worth it.

Always hoping more people will open their hearts to adoption. Every dog deserves to know what it feels like to be loved and safe. ❤️
