As small business owners, we work hard every single day just to earn an honest living. After finally completing our hectic renovation works, we never expected to face this kind of “Ah Long” harassment.

Someone even arranged a Lalamove driver to collect our signature jackfruit rack from our stall. The driver was innocent — he was simply working hard and completing the job assigned to him.

But imagine if we were not at the stall at that moment… our jackfruit rack could have been carried away just like that.

It is unfair to the hardworking driver who was being made use of, and equally unfair to us as business owners. We did not borrow any money, yet we are the ones being threatened and disturbed.

We are sharing this not for sympathy, but to create awareness. Please be careful — innocent businesses and delivery drivers can become victims too.

Please help us share and spread the word.

⚠️ PUBLIC NOTICE FROM XING HONG FRESH FRUITS 新宏生果

We would like to make everyone aware of a serious matter involving our stalls at Blk 628 Ang Mo Kio Ave 4 Market.

After successfully obtaining our 4 stalls and carrying out renovation works, we recently received disturbing threats from unknown persons claiming that we had borrowed money and threatening to spray paint / vandalise our market stalls.

We want to state this VERY CLEARLY:

XING HONG FRESH FRUITS DID NOT BORROW MONEY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

We do not know whether these persons are actual illegal moneylenders, scammers, or individuals deliberately trying to create trouble for our business. We have kept photos, messages and other evidence relating to this matter.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL DELIVERY RIDERS / PLATFORM WORKERS
(Lala Move / Grab / Food Panda)

If anyone places a job through Lalamove, food delivery/courier platforms or other delivery services asking you to:

• Go to Blk 628 Ang Mo Kio Ave 4 Market
• Demand payment on someone’s behalf
• Carry out any suspicious task involving our stalls
• Move or transport our Signature Jackfruits Rack (including orders via Lalamove to carry it away to Cheng San Market or elsewhere)

PLEASE DO NOT ACCEPT OR PROCEED WITH THE JOB.

We are putting this notice up for the protection of our staff, neighbouring stallholders and delivery riders who may unknowingly be used by these individuals.

It is 2026. Threatening a legitimate business with intimidation and vandalism is unacceptable.

We have worked hard to build Xing Hong Fresh Fruits and to expand and renovate our stalls. We will not be intimidated by anonymous threats or harassment.

Evidence has been retained.
Any further threats, harassment, suspicious visits or attempted vandalism will be documented and reported to the relevant authorities.
