Gambateh Cafe

Every Sunday close Starting something new, but it is even harder to put in your best effort at all times. Keep trying! Go for it! Take a break, have some tea.

Our first establishment started in 2012 at ABC Bricksworks Food Centre. Since then, we have always been creating unique signature products. After doing endless market research in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore, we got to know the preference of our consumers. This led us to the development of our specialty – the Pandan Waffle. We use long-lost, time-consuming traditional techniques to extract the juice of the freshest pandan leaves, which is then cooked with eggs. This gives off a delectable aroma that cannot be replicated using essence. Combining light, fragrant Taiwanese tea with the freshest ingredients, we brought change to the classic beverages. Our special Milk Tea, which carries a strong fragrance, has always been the number one beverage choice to go with the Pandan Waffle. Our name ‘Gambateh’ derives from the Japanese language, which basically means ‘go for it’ while ‘Teh’ in Malaysia and Singapore is commonly referred to tea. We strongly convinced that success will be ours if we have determination and faith. Rest a while before continuing to ‘Gambateh’!
