Château Trotanoy 2025 | Pomerol

Often described as the soul of the Moueix family portfolio, Château Trotanoy is one of Bordeaux’s most distinctive estates. Its remarkable terroir - white gravel over dense clay - has shaped wines of profound character since Jean-Pierre Moueix acquired the property in 1953.

The 2025 vintage was defined by heat and drought, yet Trotanoy’s unique soils carried the vines through the season while preserving freshness and balance. The result is a wine that is unmistakably Trotanoy: intense, tactile and deeply structured, with dark fruit, mineral depth and an enduring finish.

A vintage that remains true to the estate’s identity - and one that may ultimately be remembered among its finest modern expressions.

Our thanks to everyone who joined us for the evening. It was a pleasure to share our newly landed wines with wine lovers in town.

It was a proper treat sharing a glass with you all. The room was buzzing as we uncorked everything from the crisp C&B Sparkling Blanc de Blancs and zesty Carillon Aligoté 2022 to the sheer class of Esprit Leflaive’s Auxey-Duresses 2023 and Pouilly-Fuissé 2020.

The Thanisch Riesling 2018 and silky Labet Beaune 2022 were total crowd-pleasers, followed by the lovely Pelican Poulsard 2018. We finished with Tardieu Laurent Rasteau 2021, followed by the volcanic Passopisciaro Franchetti 2018 and a beautifully velvety Roc de Cambes 2018.

wine dinner at The American Club The American Club, Singapore to an in depth Masterclass at LE Wine, the enthusiasm of Singapore’s wine community was truly appreciated.

The wines shone throughout the week, particularly the poised and textured Chenin Blanc 2021 and the distinctive, expressive Grolleau - both eloquent reflections of the Clau de Nell terroir and its biodynamic approach.

Step through the gates into the pebbled courtyard at Domaine Dugat-Py, and time slows. Here, winemaking is measured in seasons, not seconds. Cause and effect span generations.

Since the early 17th century, the Dugat family has tended vines in Gevrey-Chambertin. Today, Loïc Dugat carries this legacy as the 13th generation—quietly confident, deeply humble, and custodian of four of the village's most prestigious grands crus, including vines over a century old.

The 2024 season tested even the most seasoned growers, yet Loïc navigated it with characteristic grace. The result? Wines of remarkable depth and elegance that honour both the challenges faced and the heritage behind them.

The 2017 and 2018 wines set the benchmark—2024 continues that ascent.

For the first time, Antonin, son of Jean Marc, is hosting events for Corney & Barrow Singapore to present the wines of Domaine Jean Marc Pillot. Jean Marc is regarded as a benchmark in Chassagne Montrachet.

We love the lean, fresh, and complex style of Jean-Marc Pillot’s wines. The estate spans nearly 15 hectares, with white wine production dominant, while almost half the holdings are planted with Pinot Noir - uncommon in Chassagne-Montrachet. Many vines range from 25 to 50 years old, with some premier crus featuring vines around 90 years of age.
