I am touched and grateful for your kind words.
It was a big challenge I gave myself to do a comeback solo recital with my dearest friends at the Esplanade Recital Studio 19 August 2026 after 7 years of retirement.

Thank you everyone who came and witnessed my concert.
The piece : With Love composed for this special performance by my former student Ong Lin Wei Ong Lin Wei was the theme.

Jeremy Monteiro Jeremy thank you for your lovely songs : Soul Mates and Paris to Segre and Always With You with Pei-Sian Ng Pei Sian on cello and Hong Chanutr Techatananan Hong on snare drum and Alemay Fernandez Alemay singing Danny Boy arranged by Germaine Goh gave me a chance to showcase my love for Jazz and your amazing piano playing.

Classical opening with Albert Tiu Albert Tiu ( head of piano at YST Conservatory) thank you for performing Cavatina by Joachim Raff and Cesar Franck: Sonata settled me to be on the solo stage again.

Brahms Trio with Prof Albert Tiu and Austin Larson ( Principal Horn SSO) was just so poignant for me too as it’s my favourite chamber music. Thank you Austin and Albert.

Inaugural Concert of Singapore Symphony Orchestra at the Conference Hall : January 1979 with our first Music Director/ Conductor Maestro Choo Hoey. (17 years)

2018 I lead the Gala concert with piano goddess: Martha Agerich performing Prokofiev concerto no.3 at Esplanade Concert Hall. She gave me a pink rose from her bouquet and autographed my program: ‘To Linnet , a wonderful musician!’

My farewell recital 16 November 2019 at Victoria Concert Hall with my dear friends who performed my favourite piece:
Meditation by Massenet ( very prayerful and meditative from my heart to God to thank Him for my long 41 years career in SSO).

Presently my home private Dining : Lynnette’s Kitchen is my new stage where I meet old MGS classmates and friends and guests. Cooking 6 to 7 courses of Peranakan and Local dishes.

I’m so proud of my student Ong Lin Wei who has received a full scholarship to do his Masters in Film Scoring at Bulgaria Music Academy! He’s an up and coming Composer and has written me a beautiful piece ‘With Love’ for my recital on 19 August at the Esplanade Recital Studio.

Hosted my visiting uncle from Perth and aunts and uncles and cousin to dinner with a non spicy menu:

Lamb Shoulder Rendang slowly braised for 4 hours with homemade rempah
