On our packing list: cookies, booth displays and a willingness to try something new. 🍪✨

At the Scoot Bazaar held in conjunction with World Mental Health, our Flour Power team got busy setting up the booth, selling cookies and connecting with visitors.

Then came a moment we were especially proud of: Sean learning sign language. 🤟

Watch for it in the video—a new challenge and an opportunity to pick up a new skill. Moments like these are why taking part in community events means so much to us.

Before the cookies take shape, teamwork does. 🍪🤝

Aprons on, hands in the dough. Pfizer joined Flour Power's Bake with Compassion workshop for a session that put communication, trust and collaboration into practice.

Through baking activities paired with simulated sensory restrictions, participants were encouraged to slow down, explain a little more clearly and find ways to tackle each task together.

A simple question, "How can I help?", can change how a team works. So can taking the time to listen to the answer. 💛

The session also included exposure to our MicroJob programme through Kopi Kaki, where our youths served beverages and refreshments as part of a real-world work experience. More than learning how to prepare and serve drinks, these opportunities help our Kopi Kakiers build essential workplace soft skills such as adaptability, flexibility and resilience. Each deployment brings different environments, people and situations, encouraging them to adjust, problem-solve and respond confidently to real workplace demands while strengthening their communication and customer service skills.
Just as participants learned the importance of collaboration in the kitchen, our youths experienced first-hand what it means to contribute meaningfully in a work setting, one interaction at a time.

We are delighted to share that our CEO, Yeo Hiok Keat, attained his Situational Leadership®️ Essentials Trainer Certification under Center For Leadership Studies(Asia) on 14 September 2026.

At Flour Power, we believe that meaningful growth starts with people. This certification strengthens our ability to better understand, support, and develop individuals at different stages of their learning, employment, and personal growth journeys.

For an organisation like ours, where every individual learns and progresses differently, Situational Leadership equips us with practical frameworks to adapt our leadership approach based on a person's readiness, confidence, and capability. This is especially meaningful as we work alongside persons with special needs, caregivers, corporate partners, volunteers, and our growing team.

Over the coming years, partnering with Center for Leadership Studies (Asia) Pte. LTD. , this learning will enable us to:
