They ran out of Beef/Mushroom Ragus so we only got to try their Carbonara & Guanciale :(

If you didnt know, guanciale is an italian cured pork jowl which usually goes really well with pasta as it gives this rich umami flavour from its high fat ratio. I was really surprised at the flavours of the pork which totally enhanced the flavour profile of the carbonara. The pasta used was similar to udon, thick and chewy yet slightly aldente. However one thing to note was that the black pepper taste was slightly overpowering, could hv been btr if there werent so much black pepper! AIYA, JUST LEMME BUY THEIR GUANCIALE CAN LE LA!! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคค

Their signature tomato soup is GAO. Like really thick and rich, and ik why. Outside their shop lays baskets and shelves of big fat tomatoes which explains their freshest and richest tomato soup. Order their combo soup for a tomato soup + any other soups, which we got their recommended Collagen Chicken Soup. Equally as nice. Ingredients were also fresh and has a wide range of variety.

Feel free to take their served condiments and desserts. 4 types of chinese desserts - we all really loved their soya bean curd which was really soft and smooth. Also has icecreams of 3 flavours and do a review for a free bowl of taro balls! Crispy on the outside and soft niam niam taro paste inside, so good!!

Staffs were also really friendly and even let us choose 2 tomatoes to bring home! I LOLed when he said โ€œไฝ ไปฌๅฏไปฅ้€‰๏ผŒๅฅฝๅƒๅทดๅˆน่ฟ™ๆ ท้€‰๏ผโ€ ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

All in all, thanks for accommodating us & we really enjoyed ourselves!

๐Ÿ Carbonara Pasta ($12) - Was cooked well, aldente texture. Nice umami flavour which has a nice twist to the carbonara flavour! Not your usual creamy carbonara!!
๐Ÿž Kaya Toast ($7) - Yet another dish with an innovative twist. Kaya icecream on top of crispy focaccia?? It makes a great dessert/daytime snack.
๐Ÿ– Pork Tomahawk ($22) - Pork was tender, a little more flavour would be good. The flavour from the mash potatoes and chickpeas made up for it.
๐Ÿ“ Chicken Parmigiana ($14) - Nice crunch to the chicken skin, not soggy nor oily. Yet chicken so tender inside.
๐ŸŸ Grilled salmon ($15) - Soft moist salmon which goes really well with the mashed potatoes AND loving the addition of the chickpeas yet again.
๐Ÿฅฆ Broccolini ($7) - Full of flavours but a little less oily will do!
๐Ÿซ Duo Choco ($8) - Good chocolate cake for a hawker standard!

Recently revamped scape has a whole foodie area at its 1st level now, and this crepe shop has been on my list for quite awhile now.

๐Ÿฅž Banana Pudding Matcha Brulee Crepe ($14.90) - Matcha crepe, matcha creme, crunch, banana pudding, caramelised top. Great mix of matcha flavour from the matcha creme and the banana flavour from the banana pudding, with a nice sweet finish from the caramelised top.

๐Ÿฅž Mochi Strawberry Crepe ($11.90) - Mochi, strawberry, crunch, compote, whipped cream. Love the chewy mochi bits and cereal crumbs through the crepe.

๐Ÿต Matcha Latte w Banana Pudding - Tbh cant taste much diff btw the 2 matcha lattes prob cos of the banana pudding but the matcha lattes here are AUTHENTIC. Nice bitter sweet taste. The banana pudding add on was soft and fluffy with lotus crumbs, wished there were more ๐Ÿฅน

Look at all those crab legs and prawns, sashimi quality here is of standard as well. Meats station their beef was not bad, not the super tender juicy kind but tender enough for buffet standards. Also love their wide range of cuisines. Best part - the desserts. CHOCOLATE FONDUE??! Thats a must no matter how full i am. Iโ€™ll save stomach space JUST for it. They even have a waffle station and you can choose your ice cream selection.

๐Ÿฅš Happy Eggggg ($18) - Soft boiled egg with pumpkin puree and truffle sabayon. You may ask $18 for egg? But it was so good that we were willing to order 1 per pax.
๐Ÿฆ Gambas Al Ajillo ($34) - Classic spanish garlic prawns with smoked potato foam and sweet paprika. No doubt one of the best prawns out there.
๐Ÿฅ˜ Paella Mediterranean Seafood ($56) - Classic Mediterranean paella served with seabass and shrimps. Paella was so good with rich squid ink and fresh seafood.
๐ŸŒ Escalivada Tarta ($16) - Smoky roasted vegetable salad with foie gras terrine. This is the only dish we didnt really enjoy this that much tho.
