Predstavljamo Medot Millésime 2018. 🥂

Millésime pri Medotu ustvarimo le, kadar je trgatev izjemna, iz najboljšega, kar nam v danem letu ponudi narava.

Millésime 2018 je zvrst chardonnaya in rebule, ki je sedem let zorela na finih drožeh. Čas, potrpežljivost in natančnost se prepletajo v kompleksni in elegantni interpretaciji letnika.

Omejena izdaja penine Medot Millésime 2018 je odslej na voljo.

At Medot, we create Millésime only when the harvest is exceptional, from the very best that nature has to offer that year.

Millésime 2018 is a blend of Chardonnay and Rebula, matured on fine lees for seven years. Time, patience and precision have come together in a complex and elegant expression of the vintage.

V času trgatve v kleti redno spremljamo tudi vina preteklih letnikov, ki še zorijo. Med njimi je tudi nekaj novosti, ki se razvijajo v lesenih sodih in keramičnih posodah.

Med zorenjem skrbimo, da posode ostajajo polne in je stik vina s kisikom čim manjši.

During harvest, we also regularly monitor the wines from previous vintages that are still maturing in our cellar. Among them are a few new additions, maturing in both wooden and ceramic wine barrels.

Throughout the maturation process, we make sure the vessels remain full, keeping the wine’s contact with oxygen to a minimum.

Medtem ko je v vinogradih vse v gibanju, si za trenutek vzamemo čas za Rebulo Golden Époque.

Ena od interpretacij sorte, ki ima pri Medotu prav posebno mesto. Zrela in kompleksna, z lepo kislino, ki poudari značilno mineralnost in slanost rebule, ter dolgim, svilnatim pookusom. V njej se izražata potencial sorte in značaj Brd.

One of our expressions of Rebula, a variety that holds a very special place at Medot. Mature and complex, with nice acidity that highlights Rebula’s distinctive minerality and saltiness, followed by a long, silky finish. A wine that captures the variety’s potential and the distinctive character of Brda.

Z začetkom avgusta se je letos na Medotu že začela trgatev.

V teh dneh obiramo grozdje za penine, približno dva tedna pozneje pa bo sledila še trgatev grozdja za naša mirna vina. Prav v tem obdobju nastajajo temelji novega letnika naših vin.

Vsem vinogradnikom in vinarjem želimo uspešno trgatev. 🍇

With the arrival of August, harvest has already begun at Medot this year.

These days, we are harvesting grapes for our sparkling wines. Around two weeks later, the harvest for our still wines will begin. It is during this period that the foundations of a new vintage are laid.

We wish all winegrowers and winemakers a successful harvest.
