Behind it stand the vineyards we know row by row. Hard work through every season. Decisions made as early as the first winter pruning. And the patience in the cellar, where the wine finally finds its true character.

Each of our wine collections has its own story, its own purpose, and its own personality. Yet they are all bound by the same foundation – a deep respect for the vine, the soil, and the time that wine requires to mature. 🍷

A story that began with the vision of two students. Stanka, a food technologist, and Matjaž, an agronomist.

The photo captures a very special moment - their high school graduation party.
As Stanka says: “This photo was taken on the very last farewell celebration after finishing high school. On this exact day, our journey together began.”😊

☝️Fun fact: they were classmates all four years of high school.

Later, with a dream in their hearts and love for their land, they laid the foundations of something that today speaks of quality, dedication, and deep family roots. 🫶

But this story didn’t start from scratch. Beneath their feet was 500 years of winemaking tradition, written in family records, passed down through generations of hardworking hands, and poured into every drop of knowledge – shared from one generation to the next. 🍇🍷

Harvesting isn’t just picking grapes – it’s a month-long organized chaos, with a touch of tradition and a whole lot of behind-the-scenes work. 🙂

🥇 𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒂 𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝒈𝒓𝒐𝒘𝒔 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝒂 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚. 𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚 𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆𝒔 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝒂 𝒓𝒆𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅. 🥈

At the Vino Slovenije Gornja Radgona 2025 competition, we presented six wines – and all six were awarded. 🍾

That’s not coincidence – that’s 25 years of heartfelt work, continuous learning, and deep respect for every vine and every grape.

🥇 Gold medal: Merlot Single Vineyard
🥈 Silver medals: Rebula Grand, Zelen Native, Pokalca Native, Chardonnay Single Vineyard, Cabernet Sauvignon Grand

Every bottle carries a story and these medals are proof that our story is heard far beyond the borders of our vineyard.

And as Stanka says:
"Our job is to give our best. Sometimes, it’s a tenth of a point between silver and gold. And wine? Wine finds its own way – like children you raise with care, then let go to follow their own path. And when they get awarded, you know you’ve done well."

The story of our Muscat doesn’t begin in the cellar – it begins with the people whose vision and love for the land laid the foundations we build on today.

Pictured – Janez, lovingly called Nute, the father of our grandfather.
A passionate winegrower, educated at an agricultural school in Italy, he brought home various vine cuttings with curiosity and dedication, grafting both vines and fruit trees by hand. 🌱

From a single Yellow Muscat cutting he once brought home, we gradually cultivated an entire vineyard – today it holds over 8,000 vines, all descendants of that one original.
Year after year, cutting by cutting. No shortcuts. Just patience, respect, and love for the land.

Viticulture has always been a way of life here – our ancestors once sold grapes far beyond the valley, even to Vienna, during the time of Count Dornberg, who gave our village its name. 🍇
In the year 2000, we took the next step – turning our grapes into our own wine, under the name that now celebrates 25 years – Berce Wines.

And that’s why this Yellow Muscat is not just wine.
It’s a symbol of our work, devotion, and centuries of tradition – carried forward with every sip, in every story that begins in the vineyard and ends in the glass. 💛

At the Sommelier selection competition, among 88 wineries and over 400 wines, we received the prestigious 𝗕𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗘𝗥 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 and achieved 2nd place with Posestvo Berce 🍾

A total of 80 eminent wine experts from Slovenia, Croatia, Italy, and Austria confirmed that our wines reach the highest level of quality. Receiving the BEST PRODUCER 2025 award and 2nd place at the Sommelier selection competition is a confirmation for us that our passion for winemaking, our dedication to quality, and our unwavering work bring exceptional results. This award is a confirmation for us that the effort we put into every bottle pays off. And this award is also for our descendants, for their heritage, which we continue. 🍇
